Are You Afraid to Speak English?
In my video on Instagram (IG) I gave you 3 English idioms to use. Want to learn two more? I CHALLENGE you to use all of these twice this week. Speak (say) these aloud to help your pronunciation.
Here’s the list:
- A blessing in disguise: something that seemed bad at first, but actually was a good thing.
- To beat around the bush: avoid saying something viewed as uncomfortable, or to be polite.
- To get it together: take positive action in your life.
- Better late than never: better to come late than not to come at all.
- Make a long story short: briefly tell something.
Ready to practice?
Speaking, pronunciation, and listening are important, but so is having a great teacher and coach. Visit our shop to enroll in a class and stop embarrassing yourself when you speak in English.
