Instagram English Language Challenge for January

I came across something very interesting and helpful to learners recently. It is called an Instagram Language Challenge. Now, the one I saw is a bit different then what I will have you do, student, but it is the same concept. Our monthly challenge is called “the Instagram English Language Challenge” (#IGELC) and will focus on vocabulary, phrases, topics, or something completely unique and random. So, since this is a new year and a new month, I have created a challenge which goes back to the basics: sight words. For those of you who are beginners, download our free e-book called Basic English for Beginners and start this challenge today! For intermediate and above learners, you ought to review the words daily and use them to create short paragraphs and/or stories. Struggling? Alright, without further ado, here are your new words for January’s challenge! Again, you should practice pronouncing them. If you are unsure of the pronunciation, have a listen to our podcast which goes over the pronunciation. You can also visit this website. If you are more advanced, make sure that you have the correct pronunciation of the words. After that, create sentences using each one and read them aloud. Once you do that. Create an entire story/paragraph using the word at least 3-5 times. This will help you with your automaticity, accuracy, and fluency to achieve fearless communication.
