Synopsis

While wheeling an elderly wheelchair bound patient to his car, a young attractive woman—Jennifer— sees a young boy taking numerous photos and videos of his mother at her command. This woman, while posing with a large popsicle, disgusts Jennifer and causes her to comment about the degradation of the current culture. In her outrage, Jennifer decides to record the woman and her son and create a meme from it.

When Jennifer returns to her apartment after work, she looks at the meme she created and decides to post it to her social media page as a final signing-off from her account and page. She then comes to realize that she is wasting time liking and following people that she doesn’t know and ultimately decides to delete her account entirely. However, she soon finds out that it isn’t that easy to quit social media. Watch what the 15th Rencontres du Court Métrage d’Angoulême calls “one of the best short films of the year by far.”
